ECDO International and National Day Observation
An important component of ECDO’s advocacy work is observing certain national and international days, to both unite the indigenous communities of Sylhet District and bring their issues to the attention of mainstream Bangla society.
ECDO observes the following days:
- International Mother Language Day (21 February)
- World Water Day (22 March)
- Bangladesh Independence Day (26 March)
- World Indigenous Day (9th August)
- International Literacy day (8th September)
- World Children’s Day (4th October)
- World HIV/AIDS Day (1st December)
