ECDO’s Founders
ECDO was formed in December 2002. Since then, ECDO has survived largely due to financial support from the indigenous people themselves, who have donated some of their resources entrusting ECDO to use the funds for the betterment of their wider community. ECDO’s own staff work on a voluntary basis.
For ECDO’s vision and projects to be fully realised ECDO needs the partnership and financial support of donor organizations. ECDO already has received funding from Action Aid Bangladesh for ECDO’s DIGNITY project. In addition, an individual donor, Mr John Grandinetti from the USA provided the financial resources for ECDO’s Rain Water Harvesting Plants project.
