ECDO's Executive Director, Lakshmikanta Singh and Assistant Professor Faisal Ahmed of Shajalal Science and Technology University spent three years researching this extensive document on the rural Manipuri people of Bangladesh.

ECDO has established an annual journal to cover Ethnic Affairs, which was first published on the occasion of World Indigenous Day, August 9th 2005 and again on World Indigenous Day 2006. The journal is a collection of renowned author's and academic's contributions towards increasing public awareness about indigenous communities.
